It’s unfortunate but it’s true, if you move with what everybody is saying, then you will end up hitting a plateau soon; and that is not good for business. What is everyone else saying that is so dead wrong about search engine optimization and what should you do different? The pull to go with what the SEO experts tell you is very strong but you will overcome it if you know what you are looking at. Of course, if you want to succeed you have to do your SEO differently and this will keep you in business forever. You should consider the most durable tactics because short term SEO will not bring you much business, and then you will have to go back to the drawing board to devise other SEO strategies.
One thing that people do wrong in search engine optimization is that after they create good and appealing content, they duplicate it too much and post it in so many other sites. This is detrimental because the search engines hate duplicated content. To get around this problem, just create a set of articles for example, say, about two of them. You can then duplicate one and post the other in your site. Even though the product information will be the same, the articles should be done differently.
While many people will see all the tactics that they hear about as gospel truth, the truth is that it’s not. If you are smart, you will want to read further than that and find out what other “less-used” tactics are available. The good news is that your efforts will be well rewarded. Some of the unique search engine optimization strategies that you have to do are really so simple it’s amazing. For example, many webmasters will want to cram their pages with internal links, but their web pages never get indexed. The reason for this is that the search engines have trouble deciphering all the tags there to find the general focus of the content. If you are smart, you will want to de-clutter your internal links, leaving only a necessary few.
When you go about optimizing your website, do not do it for the big search engines only. You should optimize for all. It is amazing how people will compete for high rankings on the top search engines while they lose a lot of business from the small ones. Optimizing for some search engines is even easier than you ever thought where you only optimize one page, and then your entire website gets a lift. You have to explore further than the big ones and see what is on the others. The good news is that you will not be disappointed.
Ok, so title tags are very important. Ask any search engine optimization expert and they will tell you that, but what they will not tell is that over saturating your title tags with keywords and key phrases is detrimental. Though keyword variation is good, please keep it to the minimum and sensible only. These are only a few tactics that SEO gurus never think about. You can try out many more.
